Saturday night see's the Victorian Compact Speedcars return to Wangaratta Speedway for one final hit out before the Victorian Title is held there in March 20.
Saturday night will see the the battle intensify between Wolley, Astrella's, Day and reigning Australian Champion Danny Stainer.
Wolley and Matt Astrella have been slowly working through the bugs that hamper new Compact creations showing great speed at the last round held at Rosedale and showing signs that they are just about over there niggles.
Keith Astrella has been tinkering in the shed as well. After the great run he had at Wangaratta that saw him have a great battle with the NSW heavy hitter of Yenne the Blue bullet was on the trailer after hotlaps at Rosedale and not the result he was looking for.
Day has been the consistant runner of all the Vic guys this year and with engine gremlins hampering him this year he has been able to finish well each and every round this year gaining alot more confidence in the car.
With the return of Danny Stainer to the ranks the boys will surely be looking forward to see how they stack up against the reigning champion.
Suprise packets for the night may come from a host of others with the return of Cam Tournier back in the seat to continue his return to the field along with John Gordon making his first appearance for the year.
Steven English returns to the fold and will be waving the rotary flag and will be one of 4 Stallion chassis also hitting the track.
Last start winner of the Brytec Cup Michael Dickson and son Beau will be looking to improve on there results along with Rookie runners Chooch Griffiths and Dean Day.
Neil Pevitt and Rob Edwards JNR will also be out to have a crack and hoping for a little reliability in there cars.
With just one illegal Alien crossing the border this time round Jezza Evans will be looking to spark a major upset
So dont miss any of the action and get to Wangaratta to watch all the action.
